Another cheap car i found in Quokka, used it as a daily driver with the intention to drop a 1JZ engine with a manual box in.

The Ae86, although a wonderful drive, is starting to make my ass hurt due to the extremely heavy spring rate.

hmmm....decided to go with black spokes on the Longchamps...

Step 4: Steal TRD sideskirt from Yellow 86 and install on Red 86

Purchased some AJPS custom coilovers and a rear heavy duty swaybar and adjustable panhard rod from Wei and got them fitted as well.

Wanting to stand out from the crowd, i choose to get the sedan version and not look like an Intial D fan, i havent even watched that show.

Step 1: Get the Longchamps installed onto the car.

Bought this car with intention to make it a daily driver. A damn quick car, an even faster sale. Sold it within a month to a colleague.

1JZ Twin Turbo power, such a great car.

Still not satified with my purchase, i got an importer to bring in a JDM Levin. Not a single rust in sight.

The Car was spot welded and repainted in preparation for it to become a race car, but due to a change in direction they sold it. Lucky me! It did cost me a cool 8 Grand, but for a car of that condition, they will easily fetch $15000 by crazy Intial D fans.

My aim was to build a track car. Stole some parts from my white AE86 and fitted them on this Red Stocker

Not very happy with that purchased, i sourced out another AE86 in white that was in better condition. Came equiped with massive roofracks to ensure cops will get distracted into thinking it just another family car.

Purchased a set of brand new Skirts from Wei at Vision R. Bought some sexy 14 x 8 +0 offset Longchamps from Ben at KYP and some AJPS Dash mat to cover the crack of a 20 year old car.

Takumi Tax.

Thanks to anime called Intial D, parts for the Toyota Corolla were in production again and due to the high demand, the price of the car appreciated crazily, some of the people in the community calling it the "Takumi Tax".

From what i thought was a rust bucket before, now i could only get something in worst condition and it was still priced more. Because it was such a rarity i decided to purchase it anyway, was introduced to a group of drifters and the garage called Split Second.

List of mod: Lots of Rust, Lots of Putty to cover rust, TRD Lip and side skirts, King Springs, Exedy Heavy Duty Clutch, Works Mesh 15 x 7 Gay offset.

2006

Next came a filty R34, smelt like someone died in it. I offered to buy it over from the car yard we were doing business with, as good will and also since i didnt have a vehicle to get around.

my feelings for this car seemed to degenerate the more i looked and drove it.

It was equiped with all the usual go fast mods and even a PowerFC. It was a fuel guzzler, wasnt pretty, it wasnt fast, just simply not a GTR, a really bad car in my opinion. I told myself never will i get anything with an RB engine again.

List of mods: Apexi PowerFC, Apexi Catback, Upgraded Fuel pump, HKS SQV, Teins HA Coilovers.

Next was a Nissan R32 Skyline Sedan...

It was automatic, but well priced, i thought i would be doing a manual conversion and the total price would be still well below market value for a manual one.

Bought some Teins HA for it, but never did get that conversion, was sold to a friend who likes his cars in auto.

A period of change...

After the sale of my beloved Civic sedan, it seems no car could satisfy my lust for machinery.

Had a couple of rides that i had plans for but just didnt work out.

Through my research of the AE86, i discovered Toyota actually had alot of performance cars that were only sold in japan. Being in Australia, these cars can actually be imported in.

Again through my trusty Quokka, i sourced myself a GX81, the next best thing to a JZX81. It was a Toyota Mark 2, freshly imported and was endowed with a 1G-GTE twin turbo engine. The only problem i had with it was that there was checked maroon paint on the side of the car resembling a flag. I couldnt stand the sight of it thus sold it for a tidy profit. I heard the next owner blew the head within a week of overboostng it.

2004

A car at Top Racing came to my attention, a friend was letting go of a certain blueish 1985 Sprinter Corolla. He was letting it go for $2000 and it had a turbo. I decided to grab it but i was still out of town so had to wait til i get back to let him know.

Unfortunately it was already gone on my return. I decided to do a little search on this mysterious car. Turns out to be one of japans classics, and there was even an Anime that featured this vehicle as its top car. I decided to bring in some Quokkas and hope to find another to purchase.

Finally, got one for at that time i thought was a big sum of $4000 for a piece of shit rust bucket. It was pretty much stock except for a transplant of an engine called the 4age.

Didnt get to keep the car for long though as parts were impossible to source as it was so old. So i thought, whats the point if i couldnt modify. Besides i was offered a good deal for it, at least thats what i thought.

looked pretty much like this photo i ripped off the internet
